Wearing similar prints in an outfit works as long as you mix it up a bit when it comes to scale. I am a stripes girl at heart, but I have been accumulating quite the stash of polka dot fabric. And I can hear them calling out "cut me!" "sew me!" from my fabric closet right now. My fabric stash and I have quite the bond.
