Now that it is officially fall, I have started busting out some of my comfy chunky sweaters.  Even though I much prefer life in Southern California with perfect weather nearly every day of the year, I am going to miss the fresh crisp air and changing leaves that life in Utah brought.  But if you follow me on Instagram, you know that I have been up in Utah this weekend to speak at Sewing Summit.  It has been fun to get back up here for a short trip and enjoy this fresh Fall weather.  I'll give you a recap of the conference in a bit, but I have had such an amazing experience!  So amazing that I haven't wanted it to end and have stayed up till 2am every night (a make-shift photo-booth and hanging out with THE Heather Bailey are high on my list of favorite moments).  So now I'm paying for those late nights by popping the Zicam to try and blow past this soar throat before I get back home to my babies.  OH how I miss them!  But I have really enjoyed this fun little vacay all to myself.

    I would go to San Diego and spend a few wonderful days with my husband. We haven't had any time together with me in school and his busy work schedule. It would be nice to just relax (if I can still remember what that verb means...)
