With kids it can be tough to fit in time to devote to beauty and fashion. It is such a passion of mine, and I spend a majority of my free time researching/outfit planning/working in that realm, but like most moms, that time is precious and usually get interrupted by hungry kids or a crying baby. Don't get me wrong...being a mom is the best. The interruptions come with the territory and that is just fine. But I've also learned that I need to make the very most out of the time that I have to spend on researching beauty and fashion trends.
Clinique has always been a makeup staple for me. I've used their foundation since high school and just recently discovered their Chubby Lash Mascara that I use to thicken my lashes. Clinique recently celebrated the launch of their new editorial hub called "The Wink", and it's one way that I'm able to get my beauty/fashion fix in a short amount of time. The Wink serves as a one stop shop for inspiration. I browsed through their new site and in a matter of minutes discovered a new beauty trick I want to try. It's a simplified alternative to the highlight/contour trend called strobing. Have you heard of it? You can read more about the trend here. The Wink also has different articles on things like travel, health, and wellness. I even found a recipe for Watermelon Mint Ice Pops that looks amazing!
Not only does The Wink have interesting condensed articles, the images for the site were shot by Gray Malin, one of my very favorite photographers. So it's aesthetically pleasing as well! So make sure you check out The Wink during your next 10 minutes of "me" time. You know...in between a diaper change and a nose wipe.
