THE TOP TREND SERIES: FOUR WAYS TO STYLE A BOMBER JACKET

Today I'm launching a new series on Elle Apparel called 'The Top Trend'. Each month I will feature an item that I love that is currently trending, or one that will  be trending for the upcoming season. I'll round up some of my favorite (in all price ranges) and show you 4 ways to style the piece. My goal is to make sure you know pieces that are going to be super hot, make sure you get them in your closet, and show you how versatile they can be!

This month I am loving the bomber jacket trend. My favorite one out there is this lighter weight jersey bomber that is currently in stock for less than $40! It might still be freezing and snowing where you are, but snag it now so that it isn't sold out when you are ready to wear it when it warms up!

BOMBER JACKET | SIMILAR LACE TOP | DISTRESSED JEANS | NUDE PUMPS (my favorite! and super comfy! | BLACK BAG | SUNGLASSES | NECKLACE

A little lace and heels dresses almost anything up! You might recognize this outfit from my instagram post yesterday. I love the juxtaposition of the masculine army green mixed with the feminine cream lace.

BOMBER JACKET | SIMILAR STRIPED TOP (only 13!) | SIMILAR LEATHER PANTS | NEW BALANCE SHOES | BLACK BAG | BAG POUF | SUNGLASSES

I'm a girly girl, but I do love adding a little edge. This jacket looks great with a good pair of faux leggings. I kept this looks toned down a bit by adding my current favorite black and white sneakers, and paired it with classic stripes

BOMBER JACKET | CHAMBRAY TOP | WHITE PANTS | SIMILAR ANKLE BOOTIES | SIMILAR SADDLEBAG | SUNGLASSES

A chambray top goes with practically everything, and this bomber jacket is no exception. I love the look of white pants with army green booties to match the jacket. It calls attention to both the jacket and boots, and elongates your legs in the process. I'll take come elongating wherever I can get it!

BOMBER JACKET | STRIPED DRESS (so obsessed with this one!) | SIMILAR RED FLATS

Ahhh the navy/white striped dress. So classic. And pairs so well with the bomber jacket. This look is dressy...mostly because its a dress. But I threw on flats with it to keep it casual enough for a park play date! (I'm wearing an XS)
