pinks and purples

I spent a lot of my childhood trying to decided between pink and purple as my favorite color.  My room was pink pink pink, but as I approached adulthood, I found myself steering clear of those colors when decorating.

however

these rooms incorporate sophisticated shades of the two colors and just make me want to embrace the little girl in me.

(I don't think my husband would mind too much with these shades)

domino

I about fell over when I stumbled upon this picture.  I came across this in one of my Domino magazines forever ago and fell in love.  I have since gone through my collection of Domino's searching for this picture, but haven't been able to find it!  I love the shade of purple, and the molding sets it off perfectly.  Simply a work of art.
