Took a trip to my beloved fashion district in LA this weekend.  Making progress on my clothing line and scoped out this fabulous ride while I was at it.... not tacky at all.

  4. I am so excited! I leave Wednesday to go to that disgustingly dirty bit o' heaven. Wish me luck in scoring some awesome finds. What are your favorite places to go?

  5. Looks like I have to make a trip out to LA! I'd love to find a place in NC that has a great selection of knits like that. But I guess I need to practice sewing knits first. Your maxi skirt is first on my list (I have an old maxi dress I'm going to scrap for it). Can't wait to see your clothing line!

  6. OMG! Amazing place with I'm sure incredible findings! Love that striped red & white fabric, hope to see it soon implemented in one of your dresses or maxi skirts))) If one day I go to LA, this will definitely be a must-to-visit place for me.

  7. I was there Saturday! My late mother day spoiling. I found gold at FIDM's scholarship store, can you say coordinated family swimsuits anyone?! How I love you fashion district! So I can see you were at Michael Levine's, but where the heck is that room with the big rolls is that the loft?! Saturday is the first I ever heard of it. If you haven't tried an ally dog, the hot dogs wrapped in bacon that are all over the streets, try one! But get it from a cart that has salsa or guac, the best! Please tell me where those picture are so I don't go crazy looking for it!

  8. These posts always make me so jealous! We don't have anything like that in the midwest...On a positive note, I just made a skirt inspired by your maxi dress and am loving it! It's so comfy and cute, I see more of them in the future for me. :)
