toasty toes

So I am in desperate need of new Ugg boots to trudge through the snow in (barf).  If I have to do it, I might as well do it in style, right?

So this is what I have in mind:

I like the option to fold the top down, and the button is cute.  It's similar to the popular crochet uggs, but it won't let the snow get to your little tootsies.

But maybe I'll opt for these.  I've had my eye on these for a while, but they may not be as toasty as the uggs.

Yeah, I know they are both grey.  What can I say......I like to walk on the wild side.

  1. Like them both but now I want the second choice.

  2. I have those first Uggs! Have you ever been to Deckers in Ventura? In the summer I bought those first uggs for like $30.

  3. You could always get the rubber boots and sew a lining for them out of fleece so they can still be warm and cozy. Plus then you can change out the fleece to add different colors or patterns depending on your outfit. There are tons of tutorials for them online. Here is one I like: http://sabbespot.blogspot.com/2010/01/tutorial-welly-warmers.html

  4. Oh Leanne you are truly a girl of my own heart. I have been eyeing the Hunter boots for a long time now...wish they didn't cost so much and hard to justify in SoCal!!!!

  5. Two words: wellie warmers. I got some for my wellies and I find they are actually much warmer than uggs and waterproof.

  6. i wore my uggs in the snow, and it ruined them...well, sort of. they got super wet and they were spotty. I had to dry them out for a while. but i did only get them for like $6 (thank you thrift store) so i wasn't too worried. but they were the tall ones, and i still wear them.
    just FYI. :D
