We are excited to welcome baby Cash into our home.  Bradley is going to love having a permanent little friend around.

(also excited that we decided on a name before he arrived.  When Bradley was born we were still trying to decide)

  1. Yay! Congrats for you! I totally know how you feel....I've got 2 boys (4yo and 2yo) and just had a baby girl (5.5 mos). Everyone told me that #2 was a girl and I kinda was thinking that way too. But then the ultrasound said def...BOY! I was surprised, but glad I was able to process those feelings before the delivery room. By the time he came, I was ALL BOY excited! The Lord actually knew what we needed cuz the boys have sooo much fun together now. They are great playmates. Then, when I was preggo with #3 we didn't find out the gender cuz I was fine either way by this time. Actually thought I would be a mom to many boys...but surprise! Baby was a girl! I was really excited but kinda in shock cuz I just thought boy the whole pregnancy :) My intuition on gender stinks...haha! Sorry to write a novel, but just had to share that I sure do know where you are coming from!

  2. At least you guys weren't planning on being surprised when the lady spilled the beans!

I'm sure once the shock wears off a bit, you can start getting all excited about stuff for a baby boy! :)

  3. Yay congrats! I would imagine it'd be hard to switch gears from girl to boy but I'm sure in time, you will feel a strong connection to that little booger in ya! :)

  4. Congratulations! Love that strong name, too. I had the same feeling as you when we found out the gender of my first daughter. I thought for sure she was a boy. I just stared at the tech when she told us. Of course we were excited, but we just stared. It was sort of like drinking something and being told all your life that it was coke and then finding out that it was really lemonade. It's still sweet and you like it but it's not what you thought it was. I totally get it! Congrats again!

  6. Congrats! I did the same thing with my little girl except I thought she was a boy. When i found out it was a girl, I cried...for DAYS!!! I had even bought a few boy things because I was "so sure." But as soon as we saw her I knew she was the perfect sprit sent from Heavenly Father to join our family. Congrats again! BTW I LOVE the name. Cash has always been one of my favorites.

  7. :D Congratulations! It will be so good for Bradley to have a little brother to play with. I was the only girl for a while in my family, and I was always jealous that my brothers had each other to play boy-related stuff with while I was on my own with my barbie dolls. :)

    So very happy for you.

  12. I love the name Cash! If we'd had a boy we always wanted to use that name but our last name is Scherrer (pronounced sheer) and when we realized what the first and last name sounds like when said together it we decided it'd be best to not torture our child for the rest of his life. Congratulations!
