With the dry winter months approaching, I am already needing to boost up my moisturizing routine at night. The other day I was so sick of getting such dry skin that I dabbed on some vitamin E oil around my eyes, cheeks, and corners of my nose before heading to bed. I totally noticed a difference in the morning, and have done the same thing every night since then. It works wonders for dry skin, helps in the anti-aging department, and it's only a few bucks at the grocery store. Just a little tidbit of info I thought I'd pass along. What do you do to help your skin in the dry winter months?
Oh I can use all the help I can get, I get eczema really bad on my neck in the winter, so I'll definitely try this out!
ReplyDeleteGreat tip thanks!
ReplyDeleteI use vitamin E oil too. I also use Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Fast Absorbing Hand Cream, or eucerine plus hand cream. For my face I also really like Olay Regenerist Night Recovery Moisturizing Treatment.
ReplyDeleteI get really dry legs in the winter. So dry they itch and itch. I started putting coconut oil on them while still in the shower {since the oil won't wash off} right before I get out and they stay hydrated all day. Lotions never did that for me.
ReplyDeleteI use Origin's Drink Up face 'mask' in the winter before bed. It's really super moisturizing and does a great job of keeping down my flaky dry skin in the winter.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to try that one! I use vaseline and baby oil!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! Such a good idea especially when I was just looking at a face oil for $140.
ReplyDeleteI have like the dryest skin ever, so this I will have to try. Hmmm... Thanx for the suggestion.

Great tip! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAs a breastfeeding mama I actually use E oil instead of the nursing creams. It's safe for baby so you don't have to worry about wiping it off all the time and it completely helps with the dryness and soreness. I swear by it!
